How the education benefits you

To be a supervisor at a public road worksite or mobile worksite on the road, employees are required to have obtained a Level 2.2 proficiency for working on public roads. Required for personnel with BAS-P and BASU responsibilities. Prerequisites: Working on Public Roads (Level 1 & 2).

The course will equip the participant with the competence to pick, demarcate, and maintain a safe work area on a public road, according to the V3 principle. Identify risks and find solutions, both for staff but also for road users. Understand clearly the laws and regulations governing the work on the road. Establish and know how to apply for a traffic planning plan (FIFA).

course contents

The Swedish Transport Agency recommends that an instructor-led education of at least 16 hours is required to achieve sufficient competence. This includes:

• In-depth knowledge of working on public roads

• VMF and its regulations

• Protective devices – function and operation

• The Work Environment Act and its regulations

• Work Environment Plan

• The governing body's governing documents

• The Transport Agency's governing document

• V3 principle – Warning, Guiding, Hosting

• Object-custom TA plans

• Traffic Regulation

• Other relevant laws

• Information for TLC, 3rd person etc.

• Accessibility, safety and information for road users

• Arbetsmiljöverket’s regulations PM 2005.

• Working methods.

• Adapting to unique situations.
